Media wall and alcove lighting installation
Power and lighting for a built-in media wall with alcove shelving either side of the television: recessed downlights above, concealed LED strip lighting in every shelf, and the supplies for the television and equipment run in before the joinery was closed up.
What we did
- Supplies run to the media wall and alcoves at first fix, before the joinery was boarded and filled
- Recessed downlights installed above the media wall on their own switched circuit
- Concealed LED strip lighting fitted to each shelf so the light source is not visible from the room
- Television and equipment supplies terminated behind the unit so no trailing cable is on show
- Tested and certified on completion
